PENNSAUKEN, NJ — Two men, both 18 years of age, have been arrested and charged in the fatal shooting of a Pennsauken man Sept. 16.
George Cruz and Tsai Davis, of Pennsauken both, were caught on camera allegedly approaching Dexter Threadgill, 35, also of Pennsauken, outside a grocery store before opening fire.
Threadgill was reportedly shot multiple times.
"The shooter, identified as Tsai Davis...was arrested and charged on Oct. 16. Cruz was identified as Davis’s accomplice and was arrested on Oct. 17," Acting Camden County Prosecutor Jill Mayer and Pennsauken Police Chief John Nettleton said in a statement Monday night.
Cruz and Davis were charged with one count of first-degree murder, while the latter was also charged with one count of second-degree unlawful possession of a weapon, and one count of second-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.
The men were transported to the Camden County Correctional Facility.
