NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ - A 20-year-old man was shot and killed Tuesday night near Suydam Street and Throop Avenue.

At about 8:13 p.m., New Brunswick police officers responded to a report of a shooting discovered Dawson Bey suffering from apparent gunshot wounds, according to a press release from Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Director Anthony A. Caputo of the New Brunswick Police Department.

The Bound Brook resident was transported to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Another victim was located at a nearby hospital.

The investigation is active and continuing.
