PISCATAWAY, NJ — Piscataway saw an increase of 24 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, bringing the total to 3,363 since the start of the pandemic, according to Middlesex County health officials. There are 56 total deaths reported for the township.

According to covid19.nj.gov, Middlesex County reported 357 new confirmed cases on Friday, increasing the total to 55,645 with a total of 1,638 confirmed deaths since the pandemic began last March.

The New Jersey Department of Health on Friday reported a total of 584,291 positive cases of the coronavirus since the pandemic began its spread in the state 318 days ago, an increase of 3,603 overnight. The death toll in New Jersey is 18,754, an increase of 115 overnight.
