At 3:47 p.m. Saturday, the National Weather Service issued a Winter Storm Watch for northeast New Jersey, including West Essex. The Watch is expected to be in effect from Sunday afternoon until Monday afternoon. The advisory was issued because of the likelihood of heavy snow, strong winds and low visibility.

Essex County College's West Essex Campus Open House Set for Saturday

WEST CALDWELL, NJ — The West Essex campus of Essex County College will conduct an open house for prospective students Saturday, December 10, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. The campus is at 730 Bloomfield Avenue in West Caldwell.
