MONTCLAIR, NJ — A neighbor called police and reported seeing people with flashlights inside of a home on October 21. Nearly $60,000 worth of jewelry, gold coins and other items were stolen from the home, officials stated.

Prior to police arrival, it was reported that the suspects fled in a white BMW Sedan with a partial New Jersey Temporary Registration of V66311. Entry was gained by force through the front door of the home. When the residents re-entered their home, they reported a large safe containing approximately $60,000 worth of jewelry, gold coins, and miscellaneous paperwork was stolen.

Police are investigating the burglary.
