CLARK, NJ – The 6th Annual Waterson/Dunham Valor Ride will take place on Sunday, July 13, 2014 at the Deutscher Club at 787 Featherbed Lane in Clark. The all-day event begins with registration at 9:00 am through noon. Bag Pipe Ceremony is at 11:30 am. The Valor Ride, a police-escorted motorcycle event, will take off at noon sharp.
Anywhere from 300 to 500 motorcycle riders are expected to participate. The route extends from Clark, through Scotch Plains and Fanwood along Martine and Park Avenues, to Bonnie Burn Road and Plainfield Avenue to Route 78 West. The ride then u-turns after a short distance on Route 78 and returns via 78 East to the Garden State Parkway South and back to the Deutscher Club via Central Avenue and Raritan Road.
Please see the flyer for details. The event is open to the public and non-riders are welcome to join the festivities at the Club. The event donation includes a continental breakfast, all-you-can-eat barbecue, all-you-can-drink soda, beer and water, a free 20-ounce mug, vendors and live music.
The ride and event are in honor of two fallen Marines and support the Clark PBA Local 125 William Waterson and Jason Dunham Scholarship Funds.
