BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ - The store has been open since December, but on Saturday the new Berkeley Heights  7-Eleven store celebrated its grand opening with music, free food, give-aways, clowns performing their magic with face painting and balloon creations.

7-Eleven is owned and operated by Katie Mortaruolo Urban and Grace Mazzocchi, who welcomed the community to the fun festivities.   Read more about the Mortaruolo history with Berkeley Bakery.

"Oh thank heaven for 7-Eleven in Berkeley Heights," said Mayor Joe Bruno. "When you think of what was in this spot before and what is here now -- it is a testimonial to our continued growth in the community. We welcome 7-Eleven to Berkeley Heights joining the family of stores that have opened in the past three and a half years."

7-Eleven is located at 417 Springfield Avenue, Berkeley Heights.
