Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City welcomes back The 75th Annual Maxwell Football Club Awards to take place on Friday, March 2. Stanford University Quarterback Andrew Luck is slated to accept the prestigious 75th Annual Maxwell Award, during the Club’s National Awards Dinner banquet at 7:30pm that evening. The Maxwell Football Club is a member of the National College Football Awards Association (NCFAA). The Maxwell Football Club is the oldest football club of its kind in America and has presented the Maxwell Award since 1937 when Clint Frank of Yale University was named as the first winner of the trophy. A free and open to the public conference will be held to present the award winners on Friday, March 2, 2012 at 11:30am in the Concert Venue at Harrah’s Resort
The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey will team up with Seton Hall University School of Law’s Investor Advocacy Project and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Investor Education Foundation for a free seminar on sound investment practices.
The event, which is open to the public, is hosted by Stockton’s School of Business, the Stockton Center on Successful Aging (SCOSA) and the Stockton Center for Economic Literacy. It will take place from 4:30 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, March 1, 2012 at the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey’s Campus Center Board of Trustees Room. “In today’s economy, smart investing practices are more essential than ever before,” said Stockton Associate Professor of Business Studies Marilyn Vito. “People need to learn the principles of proper investing, how to determine if they have been victimized by investment fraud, legal options and other key considerations. This seminar aims to de-mystify investing and help people take control of their investment strategies.”

The Wildwoods Convention Center will again host the annual Cheer Tech National Cheerleading and Dance Championships inside the Oceanfront Arena on Saturday, March 10 and Sunday, March 11.
This entertaining and exciting two-day event will include recreation, high school, college, open and all-star divisions, featuring teams from New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York and Delaware. All teams will compete on a 54’ by 42’ spring floor and perform amazing aerial and acrobatic feats in hopes of winning the judges’ votes. All performances will be choreographed to music and sound effects, and winning teams will be awarded trophies and banners.
Competition begins at 9 a.m. daily. Daily admission price is $15 for adults, $10 for children 10 and under, and FREE for children 3 and under.
Cheer Tech will also return to the Wildwoods Convention Center on Saturday, April 14 for the Elite Cheer Championship ‘Shore Show Down’, and on Sunday, April 15 for the ‘Beast of the East’ Cheerleading Competition.

The Fond Doux Holiday Plantation resort signed on as a sponsor of St. Lucia's 33rd Anniversary of Independence Gala set for this Saturday, February 25 at Grand Prospect Hall in Brooklyn, New York.
