CORAL SPRINGS, FL – A 64-year-old Lauderhill man died after a two-car crash on Tuesday at University Drive and Ramblewood Drive in Coral Springs, police said Thursday.

Marc Berard was taken to a trauma center where he was pronounced deceased.

According to police, a preliminary investigation determined a white Mercedes was traveling southbound on University Drive at around 11:45 pm.

A black Toyota was traveling northbound on University Drive attempting to make a left on Ramblewood Drive.

As the Toyota tried to turn, it hit the Mercedes in the middle of the intersection resulting in an “off-road impact,” police said.

The Mercedes had two people taken to Broward Health North in serious but stable condition, police said.

Berard was driving the Toyota.
