A Full Weekend of Events at “The Roselle”

ROSELLE/ROSELLE PARK, NJ - If you have not had a chance to see inside the building of “The Roselle” yet, then next weekend is your chance as they will be having a few events for everyone to get a sneak peek.

“The Roselle” located at 118-128 West First Avenue in Roselle, NJ, when completed, will house three components. “The Market Place”, “The Grill, The Griddle and the Irons, and “Food IV Thought”.

The Market Place, being a huge Farmers Market with over 90 vendors selling all types fresh fruits and vegetables, coffee roasters, pies and so much more.

Food IV Thought, will have cooking classes and house a professional kitchen for people in the community to prepare their foods to be sold to the public.

The Grill, The Griddle & The Irons, will be a restaurant featuring Waffles and a Waffle Bar and more.

Starting Friday night, you will be able to get a look into the building as the owners Jaull and Mahshid Loram host a weekend of events for the community.

Friday May 2nd - 6:00pm to 10:00pm     Suggested donation is $10.00
(Same event as Saturday, but for adults only) Complimentary cocktail from Jersey Artisan Distilling and Blue Jay Syrups, while shopping in the Market place.

Saturday, May 3rd - 10am to 6pm  -  Family Day - Free Admission!
Join food artisans, crafters and makers of all types.

Saturday, May 3rd - 6pm to 10pm - Special Event - (SALO)
Chef Yana Gilbuena’s SALO Project… a mobile Filipino PopUp Feast gathering adventurous diners who dare explore regions of the amazing 7,107-island Philippine archipelago through food beyond adobo and lumpia. 

A five course (or more) traditional family style dinner full of extraordinary flavors composed from local and seasonal ingredients, served on banana leaves and eaten old-school sans utensils (kamayan), with complimentary beverage pairings and an unprecedented opportunity to explore Filipino cuisine in a unique atmosphere.

Roselle Releases Garbage and Recycling Schedule for 2017

ROSELLE, NJ - The officials from the Roselle Department of Public Works (DPW), released the Garbage and Recycling schedule for 2017. 

The schedule shows no bulk pick up for the entire month of January. Bulk trash for the East Side will be the first Wednesday of the month and West Side will be the third Wednesday of the month.
