Actuators in Photography: Three years of the Peters Valley Photo Retreat
The Sally D. Francisco Gallery at Peters Valley School of Craft is pleased to announce a new exhibition titled “Actuators in Photography: Three years of the Peters Valley Photo Retreat” on display from April 13 - May 19, 2013. An opening reception will be held Saturday, April 13th from 4-7pm.
“Actuators in Photography” features the photographic work of participants in the Photography Retreats Peters Valley has held over the past three years. The exhibition includes a variety of photographic print medium: silver gelatin, platinum and platinum/palladium, wet-plate collodion, and digital. All of the images on display were taken in the time since participating in the retreat.
The Annual Photographer’s Retreat takes place over a weekend each April and welcomes photographers at all levels from professional to enthusiast. The community formed by this informal gathering is eclectic, informative and inspiring. This year’s retreat will be held April 12-14.
