All Lanes Re-Opened After Fire on Route 287

SOMERSET COUNTY, NJ - On Saturday night, July 19, a tour bus caught fire on Route 287 South at mile marker 12.4 on the border of Franklin Township and Bridgewater. The center and right lanes of the road were closed, causing delays.

The entire bus was engulfed in flames.

According to New Jersey State Police all passengers were able to get off of the bus and there were no injuries.
 
The investigation is ongoing however,the right and center lanes of  Route 287 are now open.
 
No more information on the fire is available at this time.
