Alpine School Focuses on Citizenship in January

SPARTA, NJ- Citizenship is the focus for January at Alpine Elementary School. On Monday, January 6th students and teachers from each grade level put on various skits for the school to show how to be a good citizen.  Some skits focused on helping out in the community, being a good friend, and being respectful.

Each month the students and staff are immersed in a different character trait with activities that help to convey the meaning behind the ideals. 

Throughout the month student will be recognized for showing good citizenship. Guidance Counselor, Mrs. Heather Yanoff, organized the assembly.
