American Legion Supports Summit Area YMCA Military Program

SUMMIT, NJ - The American Legion, Post 322 of Summit, presented the Summit Area YMCA with a check in the amount of $1,600 to support the Y’s Military Programs.

As part of their commitment to social responsibility, the Summit Area YMCA offers special membership rates to the families of active duty military personnel.  Additionally, the Summit YMCA offers free Yoga to able bodied active military personnel, post 9/11 veterans, as well as parents, spouses and caregivers of military personnel to specifically treat combat stress (PTSD), unresolved trauma and anxiety disorder.
