CHATHAM, NJ - The Borough of Chatham Council introduced an ordinance that will add a fifth municipality, the Township of Morris, to the shared Municipal Court located in Madison.

The ordinance will be up for adoption at the Nov. 11 meeting.

According to Councilmember Victoria Fife the borough will save about $30,000 a year with the addition of Morris Township to the shared court services.

The Joint Municipal Court will include Madison, Harding, Chatham Township, Chatham Borough and Morris Township.
