Annual Book and Bake Sale at South Plainfield Public Library


The Friends of the South Plainfield Public Library will be holding their annual Book & Bake sale on Saturday October 19, 2013 at the South Plainfield Public Library. Doors open up at 9 AM and will close at 5 PM. There will be lots of bargain-priced books, music and movies (DVDs and VHS) for adults, teens and kids! Stop by to browse the selection and pick up some cookies, cupcakes or other tasty treats! All proceeds go towards supporting South Plainfield Public Library                                                                                 The Friends are currently accepting gently used materials for donation to this event. They will also accept contributions of baked goods the day before, as well as the day of the sale. (All donated baked goods should include a list of ingredients please!). If you would like to make a donation please bring materials to the library at 2484 Plainfield Avenue during normal business hours, or call the circulation desk at (908) 754-7885 X 4 to speak to a staff member.

 The Friends of the Library is a non-profit volunteer organization which helps support the work of the library through financial contributions. Their mission is to strengthen, promote, and advocate for our public library. The FSPPL also sponsor a Museum Pass Program at the library. This allows library card holders the opportunity to either borrow day passes to local museums, or purchase them at steep discounts. For more information about this program please call the library.
