EDISON, NJ – The Annual Holocaust Memorial Program will be hosted by the Metuchen-Edison Area Interfaith Clergy Association and the Jewish Community Center of Middlesex County along with the Jewish Community Relations Council of the Jewish Federation of Greater Middlesex County.
The annual program will take place on April 28 beginning at 7:30 p.m. at the JCC of Middlesex located at 1775 Oak Tree Road, Edison. This year’s Holocaust Memorial Program will feature a slideshow and/or exhibit of community members’ photos from before and after the Holocaust.
The annual program coincides with National Days of Remembrance observance from April 27 through May 4.
The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum has designated this year’s theme Confronting the Holocaust: American Responses. What can we learn today from American action and inaction in the face of the refugee crisis in the spring of 1939 and the deportation of Hungarian Jews five years later?
