The money will be used to cover the trip costs for the team,” explained Team Leader Becky Hoffman. “This includes airfare, lodging, food, water, transportation, insurance, etcetera. A portion of the team’s budget will also be used as a donation to orphans and their caretakers. Finally, over $600 of the total team budget will be used for supplies to donate to the orphans. This will include dental and hygiene supplies, sports equipment, and school/craft materials.”

The fundraiser will take place on July 13 from 8:00 10:00 a.m. at Applebee’s located at 240 Rt. 10, East Hanover.

The price for Adults is $15 and Children under 12 are $10. Over 50 percent of the ticket price will go to benefit the missions trip.

“I think that the community should support this mission because it is all about connecting with people on a global scale,” said Team Member Kim Kirnan. “There is no greater joy than to love and be loved and this outreach is showing these children that not only are they unconditionally loved by God but they are loved by people that they never even met. It illustrates the compassion of man-kind and everyone should have the opportunity to be a part of it.”

To purchase tickets, visit The Crossing Church located at 222 Laurel Avenue or email Attendees may also purchase tickets at the door on the morning of the fundraiser.
