HACKENSACK, NJ -- Arrests have been made in the burglaries at the Morristown, Hasbrouck Heights, Wood-Ridge, and other Little League concession stands throughout New Jersey, according to a law enforcement official involved in one of the local investigations.
Ken DeBaun, president of the Hasbrouck Heights Little League, said he was contacted and confirmed the arrests by the Bergen County Prosecutors Office on Monday evening.
"I'm glad they took the time and effort to find these two as quickly as they could," said DeBaun.
The pair forced their way into the concession stand at Burnham Park on May 16, making off with several hundred dollars in cash, said authorities. Over two dozen Little League concession stands across the state have been burglarlized.
TAPinto is awaiting additional details from the Bergen County Prosecutors office.
