"I haven't been this excited about anything in East Orange in a very long time”, were the words of East Orange native, artist Trisha Chamberlain after the historic first Artist Meet and Greet Trisha, 70, was born in the hospital and considers the possibility of having her artwork here, "truly full-circle”!

Event organizer and ACEO Vice President, Linda Street gave a personal ‘thank you’ to the artists that helped “ACEO launch our exciting collaboration with East Orange General Hospital. As an advocate for the arts, my appreciation includes the aesthetic beauty and power in the visual interpretation of the human experience. Truly art is activism! But my cause and work is equally focused on stimulating economic development from the arts and creative entrepreneurial initiatives! So when these rare and highly sought after opportunities arise, that institutions and organizations actively seek to make financial investments in the local artists and creatives, I need my community, clients and colleagues to be in the conversation! And indeed they are”.
