Assemblywoman Stender Will Speak Monday at Raritan Valley Rail Coalition Meeting


WESTFIELD – Elected officials, transportation professionals and the public are invited to the next meeting of the Raritan Valley Rail Coalition on Monday, Oct. 21 at 8:30 a.m. in the Town of Westfield Council Chambers located in the Town of Westfield Municipal Building at 425 East Broad Street.

The featured speaker will be Assemblywoman Linda Stender, who serves as vice-chairperson of the Assembly Transportation, Public Works and Independent Authorities Committee.  She will discuss various rail transportation issues affecting Central Jersey residents. 

Also, Rail Coalition trustees will provide an update on the organization’s One-Seat Ride Campaign, including supporting municipal resolutions, results from recent meetings and updates on the development of a website and social media campaign.
