Edison, NJ - NAIOP, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association, will be holding a panel discussion on incentive programs impacting the real estate industry.
“Next Generation Incentives: Building on Success” will focus on a number of topics including the impact of PILOTs on redevelopment projects, Federal Opportunity Zones, and new programs offered by the NJ Economic Development Authority. The seminar is part of the association’s “Building a Better NJ” series.
Confirmed speakers include Tim Sullivan, the CEO of NJEDA, Senator Troy Singleton and Assemblywoman Eliana Pintor Marin, according to the organization.
“The real estate industry has many questions on what the future holds for New Jersey’s incentives programs. For example, will PILOTs remain effective tools for redevelopment, and how are Federal Opportunity Zones informing investment decisions? Also, who can take advantage of the NJEDA’s new programs and how do they differ from the existing Grow and ERG programs? At this event, a distinguished panel of speakers will share the latest on incentives that will fuel deals and investments across the state,” said the association in a statement announcing the event.
The panel will take place on April 30, 2019 at 8:30 a.m. at the Carpenters Apprentice Training Center, located at 75 Fieldcrest Ave. in Edison.
