MORRISTOWN, NJ - Atlantic Health System hosted a grand opening celebration for the new Chambers Center for Well Being in Morristown on Thursday, Oct. 9. The 20,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility is located at 435 South St. Here, patients will receive a holistic approach to health and well being.

The ribbon cutting took place at 5:30 p.m., followed by remarks from special guests, Drs. Deepak Chopra and Dean Ornish.

"The Chambers Center for Well Being solidifies Atlantic Health System's commitment to providing healthcare consumers with the types of programs that target vitality," Linda Reed RN, MBA, vice president, Integrative and Behavioral Medicine, said. "While conventional medicine is critical, the benefits of integrative medicine prove that health is more than the absence of disease - it is a cohesive balance of body, mind and spirit that can lift individuals to their highest state of wellness."

With Dr. Guamen's guidance, Atlantic Health System worked with industry leaders to create a unique and personalized experience, ensuring the Chamber's Center for Well Being is at the forefront of integrative and functional medicine.

A variety of therapies and life style programs are offered including massage, acupuncture, meditation, yoga, lifestyle coaching, energy therapy and stress reduction. The Center also features a Well Being Marketplace where patients will be able to purchase specialized products such as skin care products, cookbooks and supplements. The Center will also include a learning center which will provide educational training and certification for medical professionals.

The new facility offers integrative medical services as well as other programs to empower people to make positive life style changes.
