PATERSON, NJ -  Complaints of drug sales in the area sent members of the Paterson Police Department’s Narcotics Division into action Friday leading to eight arrests, Public Safety Director Jerry Speziale said.

In a statement Speziale reported that of those arrests following surveillance in the area of 239 Summer Street, six individuals were allegedly working together to sell drugs while two were said to be out-of-town buyers.

Arrested and charged with various crimes related to the possession of, and intent to distribute 263 glassines of heroin were:

  • Ronmir Jones, 20
  • Jamel Bethea, 31
  • Merciful Brooks, 26

 Also arrested were Jason Riabaudo, 44, Lodi and Brielle Roth, 31, Ridgefield Park who are said to have been purchasing heroin.
