CRANFORD, NJ - The CDC is holding auditions for Rapunzarella White, a Rocky and Bullwinkle style Fractured Fairy Tale. Herschel, The Fairy Tailor, tells the tale of triplets Rapunzel, Cinderella and Snow White, born to Queen Millicent and her slimy Frog Prince, who hopped off long ago. They are torn asunder by a Witch’s curse and brought back together by the true love of their Princes. An intergenerational cast means the whole family can join in from 8-80. Auditions will be held at CDC Theatre, 78 Winans Aveenue, Cranford, on Sept. 14 and 16 at 7:30 pm. Callbacks are set for Sept. 19 at 10am. The performances will be on Dec. 4, 5 and 6. For more details visit www.cdctheatre.org. Funding for the season has been made possible in part by the New Jersey State Council on the Arts, Department of State, a partner agency of the National Endowment of the Arts, through a grant administered by the Union County Office of Cultural and Heritage Affairs.
