MORRISTOWN, NJ - Morristown Mayor Tim Dougherty gave the following update on Friday, August 7. There are no new positives for today, he said.

Dougherty then went on to list the streets that remain without power: Sand HIll Road, Rosemilt Place, Shenandoah Place, Shady Lane, Franlin Place, 41 Elm Street, 45 Elm Street, 51 Madison Avenue, Wetmore Avenue, 53 Hill Street, Colles Avenue, Farragut Place.

If you don't have power and are not one of the streets listed, the mayor is asking you to call his office at 973-292-6629.

"I'm going to send this list to JCP&L, the governor's office and our state senator", said Dougherty. "To try to keep pressure to get our power back".

Maxwell Court has an issue with a tree, Rt. 202 and Washington Place have trees down, he said.

"If you have a tree across it or are impassible, please call us and let us know", he said. "If you don't have power, call JCP&L at 1-888-LIGHTSS. You are not forgotten. We are doing everything we can."
