NORTH PLAINFIELD, NJ - Authorities are investigating a three-vehicle crash on Route 22 on Saturday morning and are requesting the public’s help.

Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Collision Analysis Reconstruction Team (CART) responded to the area of Route 22 East and West End Avenue, North Plainfield, New Jersey to assist the North Plainfield Police Department in investigating a serious motor vehicle crash on Saturday, Somerset County Prosecutor Michael H. Robertson, Chief of County Detectives John W. Fodor and North Plainfield Chief of Police William Parenti announced today.

Prosecutor Robertson stated that on Saturday, Jan. 12 at approximately 5:56 a.m., North Plainfield Police responded to a two-car motor vehicle crash. During the initial police response, a third vehicle became involved,striking one of the initial disabled vehicles. The three individuals involved were transported to area hospitals for medical treatment.
