Spring Cleaning has begun! The new and refreshed Ava’s Kitchen & Bar Spring Menu will roll out this coming Tuesday, April 16th! Look carefully as we’ve updated a few items as well as added some and removed others to keep things new and exciting.
While favorites such as our Crispy Chicken Lollipops and Wood Fired Mac & Cheese remain, were excited to introduce new items such as Jerk Duck Wings and House Made Kielbasa.
We've also expanded our vegan items with the additions of Kale & Artichoke Dip, Pan Seared King Oyster "Scallops" made with baby bok choy, fine rice noodles, and ginger-soy broth, and Panelle "Chickpea Fritters" to name a few. All of our products are sourced from small, local farms to assure the highest quality and freshest taste.
Our updated pizza menu has something for everyone from vegetarian offerings, to carnivore pies, and even vegan options. Some new possibilities include a 5 Cheese Pizza, a Spring Harvest Pie, and our "Porchetta" pie made with Roman style pork roast, piave, fresh mozzarella, and Italian salsa verde.
Our pizza dough is made with Farmer Ground Flour from Trumansburg, NY., which is milled fresh and sent straight to us, allowing our pizza chefs to give it the highest treatment of slow ferment with a natural starter. All in the name of producing a wildly delicious and nutritious product, with a focus on every aspect of the crust, crumb, and all in between. We do not use commercial ‘quick rise’ yeasts that rush this process and in turn can harm your delicate digestive system.
Taking these careful measures to produce our dough in this fashion helps to pre-digest the grain which is the healthiest and safest ways to ingest all glutens for a product our digestive system can actually digest. Quality ingredients, quality measurements, and quality techniques for quality results. You’ll taste the difference while you eat it and you’ll notice the difference after you eat it.
