Hundreds of New Jersey women are already participating in B.I.G. (Believe, Inspire, Grow), an inspiring business organization, designed to "empower women to business."
This membership-based organization utilizes face-to-face community meetings, an interactive website and monthly teleconferences to provide intelligent women a positive and educational support network to help move their business ideas forward. Many of these women have been out of the workforce for several years or they are looking to make a change in their current career.
Now, thanks to Long Hill Township residents Jeanine Laviola and Brooke Manino, women throughout Long Hill will have the opportunity to join and participate in B.I.G. As the Long Hill B.I.G. Leaders, Ms. Laviola and Ms. Manino will host monthly meetings with area women to discuss relevant business ideas, share insights and brainstorm ways to overcome their obstacles.
"I am excited to share this great opportunity with the women of Long Hill Township," said Ms. Laviola. "As an entrepreneur, I know firsthand the many struggles and challenges that face women who desire to make economic contributions, without sacrificing their important family commitments. B.I.G. provides the resources and infrastructure to allow us to overcome our business challenges and work toward success."
Founded in September 2009 in Bernardsville, New Jersey, B.I.G. has been rapidly expanding to communities throughout New Jersey. During the fall of 2009, more than seven local community groups, known as "pods", launched throughout the state and further expansion is planned in communities nationwide beginning in 2010.
The B.I.G. Long Hill pod meetings will be held on the first Monday of the month at Renew Salon and Spa at 10 a.m. Women are encouraged to visit the B.I.G. website at www.justthinkbig.us to learn more about how to take the next step in their business lives or contact Jeanine Laviola at firstname.lastname@example.org or Brooke Manino at email@example.com
Pre-registration via the website is required to attend all meetings.
