CHATHAM, NJ - Sophomores Bridget Ballard and Emily Wingate combined for seven goals and eight assists in leading Chatham to its 15-5 girls lacrosse victory over Villa Walsh in the quarterfinals of the Morris County Tournament played at Haas Field on Tuesday.
Maddy Bowles contributed three goals and one assist for Chatham (8-7), which received two goals apiece from Morgan Sullivan and Alex Frenzel. Maggie O'Neill had a goal and two assists for the Lady Cougars. Goalie Gislina Saul was credited with six saves for Chatham.
Victoria Esposito had three goals and Kelly Holt netted two for Villa Walsh (10-5).
