ROSELLE PARK, NJ - The Union County Election Division announced Wednesday that mail-in ballots would be mailed to Roselle Park residents on September 24.
Residents can expect their ballots within 7 days of the 24th. If you do not receive a ballot within this time period, contact the Election Division at (908) 527-4996. Every person in the state who is currently registered to vote will automatically receive a ballot in the mail; all others have until October 13 to register to vote.
In-person voting will be limited this year to people with disabilities because of the pandemic. Instead ballots can be mailed, dropped off in a ballot box or delivered to the polling place on Election Day. A voter has to deliver their own ballot to the polling location.
Roselle Park residents can drop off their ballot in a secure ballot box outside the Union County EMS Building on Laurel Avenue.
Once the ballot is completed residents will be able to track the progress of their ballot on the New Jersey Division of Elections website. This is a new program that was introduced by Governor Murphy along with a new way to register to vote online.
