Barnes & Noble to Manage SCCC Bookstore

NEWTON, NJ - Sussex County Community College (SCCC) has announced an agreement with Barnes & Noble College to operate its campus bookstore. The five-year contract will transfer management of the bookstore to Barnes & Noble College and open Oct. 21 with an expanded array of books, merchandise and services.  A ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for 10 a.m. to officially mark its opening.

Located in the existing bookstore at One College Hill Building D, the store will include a larger inventory of general-reading books; an expanded convenience food section; gifts for students, alumni, family and friends; an assortment of SCCC spirit wear; and unmatched textbook options in a variety of formats, including new, used, rental and digital.

In addition to the campus store, Barnes & Noble College also manages the college's online bookstore website – delivering an innovative customized shopping experience and giving students, faculty and alumni the choice and convenience to shop in-store or online.

Sussex County Community College is one of 12 higher education institutions Barnes & Noble College partners with in the state of New Jersey, including Rutgers University, Caldwell College and Rowan University. Nationwide, Barnes & Noble College operates more than 700 campus stores.
