Barnett Scores Twice; Albanese's Second Straight Shutout Hands Madison its First Loss

MORRISTOWN, NJ -  Will Barnett scored two goals and C.J. Albanese notched his second straight shutout as undefeated Chatham handed Madison its first loss of the season, 2-0, on Sunday at the Mennen Sports Arena.

Chatham (5-0-3) took a 1-0 lead in the second period when Barnett netted a power-play goal. Robert Graziano and Teddy Simson were credited with the assists.

Barnett scored an even-strength goal at 2:59 of the third period, with assists from Jack O'Connor and Austin Pierce.

In the second period, the Cougars were whistled for four penalties, including two 5-on-3s, which they killed. Graziano, A.J. Albanese and O'Connor were part of the penalty-kill unit for Chatham.

Peter Andersson made 34 saves for Madison (7-1). C.J. Albanese had 21 saves.
