Barnett, Simson Score Key Goals for Chatham in 4-2 Victory Over Bergen Catholic

WAYNE, NJ - Will Barnett scored off a pass from Bryn Casey with six seconds left in the second period and Teddy Simson netted a goal with 1:13 showing in the third period to highlight Chatham's 4-2 ice hockey victory over Bergen Catholic on Saturday in the Ice Vault Pepsi Classic.

Chatham took a 2-0 lead in the first period when Casey scored off a feed from Simson and Simson then scored on assists by Casey and Brett Montgomery.

Barnett's goal in the waning seconds of the second period made it 3-0 for Cahtham. In the third period, Chatham killed off a 5-on-3 advantage by Bergen Catholic with the unit of Simson, Ben Seitz-Sitek and Mark McNally.

Bergen Catholic then scored twice in the third period to cut its deficit to 3-2 before Simson sealed it with his unassisted goal.

Chatham goalie C.J. Albanese made 28 saves for the Cougars, who held a 43-30 shot advantage.
