BAYONNE, NJ - Bayonne's public school students will continue to learn remotely through the end of the 2nd marking period, Superintendent John J. Niesz has told TAPinto Bayonne.
“The Bayonne School District remains remote until at least January 29,” Niesz said. “We will continue to evaluate our plan as we go forward. The safety of our students, community and employees remains our highest priority as we work to get back to normal school operations.”
The Bayonne school district follows Jersey City and some other Hudson County school districts in continuing remote learning as positive cases of COVID-19 continue to rise, something, Mayor Jimmy Davis has said previously, Bayonne is prepared for.
