WARREN, NJ - On Saturday, March 29 The Hills Lacrosse Club will be hosting the Watchung Hills Regional High School Lady Warriors “Become A LAX Warrior laCROSSe Fit Play Day”.
With the help of The Hills Lacrosse Club, the event will be held at the Duderstat Turf on Dubois Road in Warren where the youth team practices. The laCROSSe FIT Play Day will feature fun activities for 3rd – 8th graders including water balloon toss, fastest shot, musical lax balls, tire shot, knock the can, and a speed and agility obstacle course.
No lacrosse experience is needed so the public is encouraged to come by anytime between 11:15 a.m.– 2 p.m. Drinks, snacks, and T-shirts will be available for sale. A $5 donation is suggested.
In addition to the Play Day for the youth, the high school girls are continuing a tradition started over 8 years ago of looking beyond their program needs and donating a portion of their sponsorship proceeds to a charity.
For the laCROSSe FIT portion of the day, friends and family sponsor the high school girls for the number of push-ups, sit-ups, burpees, or shots in goal that they complete in one minute or can opt sponsor a player a flat donation amount. This year a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the American Cancer Association.
