BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ - Dan Bass and Robert Murphy combined to pitch six innings, helping the Berkeley Heights 10U A team secure the championship title as they defeated Cranford, 3-2, in the New Providence Green League on Monday, July 28 at Mary Kay McMillin School.

Cranford took an early 1-0 lead until Robert Murphy blasted a two-run triple in the bottom of third putting Berkeley Heights in front by a score of  2-1. Cranford battled back to tie the game at 2-2. 

In the bottom of the sixth, with two outs, Jack Greco lined a single to left-center to score Thomas DiNunzio to give Berkeley Heights the victory.
