BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ - The Berkeley Heights 8U A baseball team made it to the final round of their summer travel league playoffs last Monday against Florham Park.

Florham Park took the early lead before Berkeley Heights tied the game when Michael Geertsma hit a home run out of Horseshoe Field.

With the score tied 6-6 after seven innings, umpires suspended the game due to darkness, with a completion date set for Tuesday.

Once play resumed, Florham Park quickly scored a run to take the lead. Berkeley Heights managed to put runners on the corners with two outs in the eighth, but failed to score, falling 7-6.
