Berkeley Heights Police And Rescue Squad Respond To 4-Car Crash

BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ - Berkeley Heights Police and the Berkeley Heights Volunteer Rescue Squad responded to a 4-car motor vehicle crash with injuries at the intersection of Springfield Avenue and Snyder Avenue shortly after 3 p.m. on Monday.  Upon the arrival of the squad’s two ambulances, it was determined that there were additional patients that needed care and removal from three cars. Assistance was requested from New Providence, who dispatched an ambulance from their volunteer squad, and for a paramedic unit that responded and met a Berkeley Heights ambulance in transit to Morristown Memorial Trauma Center. In all, four patients were transported for treatment; two to Morristown and two to Overlook Hospital.
