BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ - On Sunday, June 29, the Suburban Chamber of Commerce and Berkeley Heights Rotary Club will be holding the 2nd annual Berkeley Heights Street Fair. This event will be held along Springfield Ave. from Snyder Ave. to Plainfield Ave. from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The street will be transformed into a giant town block party.
The special “Kidz Shindig” section will be brimming with all kinds of fun stuff to do: kiddie rides, climbing wall, clowns, face painting, petting zoo, sand art, temporary tattoos, live entertainment and much more.
This event brings the whole community together. Many of the local merchants and businesses will showcase their shops and offer their special sales. Everyone will enjoy the open air cafes along the street fair route offering a wide selection of delicious foods such as hot dogs, ice cream, chicken fingers, zeppoles, shish ka bobs, fresh squeezed lemonade, Italian Ices, french fries, hamburgers, sausage and pepper sandwiches, pulled pork, roasted corn and much more.
There will be attractions for everyone. For your shopping pleasure, JC Promotions, Inc., promoter of the street fair, will feature over 200 exhibitors including many creative crafters and merchandise dealers offering lots of great bargains and unique items for all.
