BERNARDS TWP., NJ _ [Update] As of Tuesday morning, the school district revised its decison. All Bernards Township Schools are now closed for Tuesday, Feb. 12, according to an email from the Board of Education.

All activities, practices and evening events on Tuesday are also canceled, according to the school website.

As of Monday night, the Bernards Township school district had called a two-hour delayed opening time on Tuesday, with a winter storm bearing down on the region.

Ridge High School and the William Annin Middle School were due to open Tuesday morning at 10 a.m., and the district's four elementary schools at 10:45 a.m., as of official information from the Bernards Board of Education as of 10:30 p.m. on Monday.

Lunch was to served only at the high school, and students at other schools were asked to bring in snacks.

As of Monday night, snow was expected between 4 to 9 a.m., with a mix of snow and sleet to follow.
