MILLBURN, NJ - New York Times number one bestselling author Christina Baker Kline will lead a discussion of her novel, Orphan Train, at the Millburn Free Public Library on Monday, May 5 from 12:30 – 2:00 p.m. as a part of the Friends of the Millburn Library’s monthly Fireside Book Discussion Club.
“Christina Baker Kline's Orphan Train is a poignant and memorable story of two steadfast, courageous women---one young, one old---and their discovery of each other's past as unwanted outsiders. It is a revelation of the universal yearning for belonging, for family, for acceptance and, ultimately, the journeys we must all make to find them,” said Kathleen Kent, NYT bestselling author of The Heretic’s Daughter and The Traitor’s Wife.
This is a unique chance to engage with the author of an acclaimed book and learn what inspired her writing. The event is free and open to the public. The Millburn Free Public Library is located at 200 Glen Avenue.
