SOUTH ORANGE, NJ - English singer-songwriter Beth Orton will perform at the South Orange Performing Arts Center (SOPAC ) on Friday, August 2 at 8 PM.
Dubbed “the new queen of British folk,” by The Daily News, Orton has been receiving accolades for her unique brand of music for twenty years. Her most recent album, “Sugaring Season,” has gotten rave reviews all over the world and was featured on many 2012 “Best-of” Lists.

Known for her "folktronica" sound, which mixes folk and electronica, her collaborations with William Orbit and the Chemical Brothers, followed by her hit albums, “Central Reservation” and “Daybreaker,” earned her a wide following.
