BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ - The Berkeley Heights Youth Soccer Club coaches challenged each other to a friendly "end of fall season" soccer match last Sunday at Snyder Avenue Park. The girls teams’ coaches won a very close game against the boys teams’ coaches.
Berkeley Heights Youth Soccer Club (BHYSC) encourages all their volunteer coaches to continue to play soccer. Whether they are playing in a formal Coaches Challenge game, a competitive tournament against other towns, or in an informal pick up game on the weekend -- getting out and playing helps remind coaches of the challenges the youth players face on the field. This helps the coaches to assemble much more effective practice plans. More effective practice plans lead to better player development - the number one priority of the Club.
The coaches extended their thanks to Lou Mastropasqua for organizing the event.
