PATERSON, NJ - A Paterson man is dead after colliding with a two truck while riding a bicycle Sunday law enforcement officials reported.

According to a statement the victim, Gerard Webb, 46, collided with a tow truck being operated by Antonino Barbera, 38, Fair Lawn, at approximately 11:48 a.m. The accident took place on River Street.

Webb was transported to Saint Joseph’s University Hospital by Paterson Fire Department EMS where he was pronounced dead at 1:23 p.m. with serious injuries. Barbera presented a valid driver’s license and remained at the scene following the crash police said.
