WHIPPANY, NJ - Big Brothers, Big Sisters, other local volunteers, and SportsCare give "Littles" day to remember Volunteers from the Big Brothers, Big Sisters and the Morris County Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals Committee recently visited SportsCare Performance Institute in Whippany to participate in a day of activities with a dozen "Littles," ages 7 to 14. The day was designed as a fun way to get the kids engaged and exercising.
Activities began with four stations -- flag football, agility testing, relay racing, and soccer. The stations were followed by a quick lunch, courtesy of Parsippany's Apple & Spice. Tug-A-War, various versions of dodgeball, and a relay race concluded the busy day.
“The activities were fun, competitive, and provided exercise for everyone involved," said SportsCares’ Caitlin Flood. “It was a really busy day, and we all had lots of fun. We hope we can do it again very soon."
