MILLBURN, NJ - The Millburn Free Public Library has big events this Saturday, Sunday and Monday. From fantasy to history to finance, there is something for everyone.
Sat 4/26 from 2:00 – 3:30 p.m.
Weird Worlds film series wraps up with “Fantastic Planet.” This film is suitable for families. Program includes an introduction by MSHAAC member Victoria Plummer and there will be time after the movie for discussion. Drop-in, no sign-up necessary.
Sun 4/27 from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m.
Come to the Millburn Library’s second event in its series honoring the 350th anniversary of New Jersey, “A Journey Through the Palisades,” with author and local historian Kevin Woyce, who will present an informative talk and slideshow on this scenic part of our state, including trails, overlooks, the famous amusement park and more.
Mon 4/28 from 7:00 – 8:45 p.m.
Understanding Medicare: Basics for Boomers, with Neil Berger. Learn the differences between Original Medicare, Medicare Advantage and Medigap. Learn what Medicare covers, when to apply, the penalties for late enrollment and the options available. This program is perfect for somone approaching Medicare eligibility within the next 5-10 years, or are the caregiver for (or the adult child of) someone approaching eligibility.
