EDISON, NJ - Bill Spadea, anchor of the week nightly Fox Channel 9 program “Chasing New Jersey”, will be the master of ceremonies at the inaugural Middlesex County Young Republicans Lincoln-Reagan Day Awards Reception on Thursday, June 19 at 8 p.m. at the Crowne Plaza in Edison.
In addition to his experience as a political strategist and his commitment to bringing the top news to New Jerseyans, Spadea has also made a name for himself as a congressional candidate in the 12th district in 2004.
“Young Republicans are the foot soldiers when it comes to campaigns. As someone who understands the importance of grassroots organizations and door-knocking, I am proud to be there to honor young conservative activists in our great state,” said Spadea.
Assemblyman Jay Webber (R-Parsippany) and Councilman Rob Bengivenga (R-South Plainfield) will be the evening’s honorees. The cocktail reception and awards ceremony will be in recognition of the accomplishments of young Republican activists and leaders in Middlesex County and across the state.
“This is truly an exceptional opportunity to celebrate the best and brightest young activists in the Republican Party,” said Bengivenga.
Middlesex County Young Republicans has selected exceptional volunteers from across New Jersey to receive the Young Republican Grass Roots Volunteer Recognition Honor: Jacqueline Cheng, Marlboro Township; Victor Gatica, Piscataway; Tonia Kulberda , South Brunswick, Charles Measley, Asbury Park; Damon Montesano, Piscataway; Mike Rizzi, North Brunswick; and Michael Ward, Lawrenceville.
Middlesex County Young Republicans is a grassroots organization of Republican activists ages 18-40 in Middlesex County who are dedicated to helping Republican candidates win.
