SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ – The Bishop Ahr Trojans scored 21 fourth quarter points to pull away from the South Plainfield Tigers to win 52-44 last night in South Plainfield. Bishop Ahr weathered a 12-5 first quarter opening run by South Plainfield, and pulled to within two points at half trailing the Tigers 21-19. The Trojans would score the first nine points to open the second half, and would never trail again in the game.
Malik Cisson scored 12 points and grabbed eight rebounds for the Tigers. The Loss drops South Plainfield’s record to 3-5 on the season and Bishop Ahr improves to 5-2 on the season. South Plainfield plays today at home versus East Brunswick.
