The Newark Public Library salutes Black History Month with a lively presentation by performing artist, Sharon McGruder, Saturday February 20 at 2 p.m. Presenting Raps, Rhymes 'N Reasons, she combines movement, songs and real life experiences with African tales, myths and stories in a rich celebration of African American traditions. The program will take place in Centennial Hall of the Main Library, 5 Washington Street in downtown Newark.

The February program is part of an eight month, Hooray for Children! live Saturday free performance series at the Newark Public Library.
